"Drill Freestyle" is a self-composed single by Toronto-based rising rapper Forever Chen. The music video was co-directed by Ziying Huang and Thomas Liu, aiming to visually complement the energetic and fast-paced nature of the song.

Role and Responsibilities
As the cameraman for this project, I focused on capturing dynamic and engaging footage to match the song's tempo. Given the fast-paced nature of the music, I employed numerous handheld shots to convey a sense of immediacy and energy.
Filming Approach
The use of handheld cameras allowed for more fluid and spontaneous movement, aligning with the rhythm and intensity of "Drill Freestyle." This technique helped create a raw and authentic visual style that resonated with the song’s vibe.
Outcome
The resulting music video effectively captured the essence of Forever Chen's "Drill Freestyle," providing a visually stimulating experience that matched the track's high energy and fast pace.
